1. With him and Leonaro it's the smile. The tiny details in Leonora's smile, the way she smiles. 2. Her father introduced them, it was his birthday. Wiliam was there for his work, he came to see her father for an interview. 3.On the first few pages, he thinks it's her mother or her father. But at the end he thinks it's Rachel, Poppy Vasari might have told Rachel about Con Mulvanney's death and his part in it. Rachel would have told Leonora about it and thus poisoning her mind.
1. When he looks at her, his heart beats harder than usual and he suddenly feels his body get colder whereas his head feels warmer. And he loves her smile, even though he knows she tries to control it when she smiles at him.
2. It was her father's birthday, and William happened to be there for an interview with him. Leonora came to het father's birthday and after that William asked her for her phonenumber.
3. He thinks Rachel must have told her, for she works as a social worker just like Poppy Vasari. Poppy could have told her, because she is with Leonora all day and didn't like Guy from the start. She wouldn't hesitate to tell Leonora bad things about him.
